Mid-September: LocalThunk posted new 1.1 details in the Discord
LocalThunk returned to the official Balatro Discord with the fullest picture of 1.1 so far: a tier 2 voucher named Lunker, a new card-draw trigger, at least four new jokers, and a second Blue Stake rework. June 30: Balatro arrived on the Epic Games Store
Balatro's official X account announced that the game is now available on the Epic Games Store. This is a new storefront release, not a gameplay patch.
June 10: Playstack changed majority owner
TruFin said its disposal of Playstack completed on June 10. VantageCo Limited bought TruFin's 84.5% stake in the publisher. February 25: Switch 2 version launched
Balatro's official X account announced the Switch 2 version. Switch 1 owners receive an owner discount, but save files do not transfer.
February 20: LocalThunk said 1.1 work was continuing
LocalThunk ended a February blog post with: "P.S. Yes I'm still working on 1.1." The post did not include a release date or feature list.
