Who we are

Balatro HQ is a fan-made resource site for the game Balatro. We are not affiliated with LocalThunk or Playstack. All Balatro names, artwork and sprites remain the property of their owners.

What we collect

We collect aggregate, non-personal traffic data through Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, and Cloudflare Web Analytics: page views, referrers, country, device class, browser, anonymized IP, and aggregate interaction sessions. Microsoft Clarity captures user behavior metrics and heatmaps with sensitive form data masked by default. We do not collect names, emails or account information because we have no login system.

Google Analytics uses cookies in your browser. You can opt out at any time by enabling Do Not Track, using a browser-level cookie blocker, or installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out add-on.

Optional product feedback

On Tools pages only, we may show an optional feedback widget powered by Make This Better. If you choose to submit feedback, the widget can capture the page URL, browser and OS info, annotated screenshots, selected page elements, console errors, and (if you start a replay) a short DOM interaction recording. Submissions are processed by Make This Better so we can investigate and fix issues. Feedback is voluntary; closing the widget sends nothing.

Cookies

We use cookies set by Google Analytics for usage measurement. Cloudflare may set a `__cf_bm` cookie for bot management. We do not set any first-party tracking cookies of our own.

Advertising

The site uses Journey by Mediavine for advertising. Mediavine and its advertising partners, including Google, may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses and browsing information to select ads, limit ad frequency, detect invalid traffic and measure ad performance. Personalized ads may use information about visits to this and other sites.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings. You can manage available advertising choices using the consent controls supplied by our advertising provider. See the Mediavine Privacy Policy for details about its data use and your rights.

Third parties

Some pages link to external sources that may set their own cookies or collect data under their own policies. Tools-page feedback submissions are handled by Make This Better as described above. We do not control those third-party data practices.

Children

The site is suitable for all audiences but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
