How the Balatro Seed Advisor Reads a Seed
The Seed Advisor turns a run seed into a build decision. It scans the shops, Buffoon packs and Soul spawns for Antes 1-8, ranks the Jokers that matter into a board, and scores which playstyles those Jokers can support. That part runs in your browser with no AI. The optional AI report then reads those same facts and writes a plan you can follow in the run.
Generate consumables every round; Perkeo turns them Negative for an engine.
Score cards you keep in hand: Baron ×mult per King held, Mime retriggers them.
Repeat scoring of cards/Jokers; useless alone, lethal stacked on ×mult.
Seed hands you a Legendary via a Soul — build the run around it.
Blueprint / Brainstorm clone your best ×mult Joker for a second copy.
Cartomancer (Tarot on blind select) / Astronomer (cheap Celestial) keep consumables flowing.

What does the Seed Advisor show before any AI is involved?
Two things, both computed from the seed alone: a board of high-value Jokers (Legendaries from Soul cards plus the strongest shop and pack Jokers, grouped by role, each tagged with the earliest Ante it appears) and a ranked list of up to five playstyles. The same seed always produces the same board and the same ranking, so you can share a seed and a friend will see identical results.
What do the core, enable and support labels on a playstyle mean?
Each playstyle is built from three kinds of pieces. Core Jokers define the build and do the heavy multiplying. Enablers unlock the hand or suit the build needs, such as Four Fingers or Smeared Joker. Support Jokers amplify a working build but cannot carry it alone. A playstyle ranks higher when the seed offers its core pieces early; a list of support pieces with no core is a weak signal.
What does the AI report add on top of the board?
Judgment. The board says what the seed contains; the report says what to do with it: which playstyle to commit to, an early, mid and late plan, and a Joker lineup. If you pick a core Joker first, the lineup is built around it; otherwise the AI chooses. Reports are cached per seed and core, so a repeat request is instant. AI reports have a daily limit, while the board and playstyles are always free.
Which core Joker should I build around?
Start with the top-ranked playstyle and pick its earliest core piece, since a core you can buy in Ante 1-3 shapes every later shop. A Legendary from a Soul card is a strong choice when it shows up early, but a late one is a bonus, not a plan. Leave the picker empty if you want the AI to weigh the options for you.
How do saved seeds work?
Save a seed to keep its Joker board, the AI report if you generated one, the chosen core and a private note. You can keep up to 20 seeds and edit or delete them in the saved seeds panel. The list is tied to this browser rather than an account, so it will not follow you to another device.
When should I use the Seed Analyzer instead?
Use the Seed Advisor to decide what to build. Switch to the Seed Analyzer when you need the raw readout: every shop slot, booster pack, voucher and Boss Blind, Ante by Ante, so you can plan exact purchases and rerolls. The two tools read the same seed engine, so their Jokers line up.
